The annual HR One Gala took place this Tuesday the 21st of March to highlight remarkable Luxembourg HR initiatives, that best meet local and current market’s needs when it comes to fostering a great employee experience and attract talents.
Each year, Devoteam’s HR team takes the opportunity to look back on what’s been continued, developed and enhanced to always make the company a place where people thrive in. With 4 applications submitted, 4 nominations by jurys and 2 awards received, we’re very enthusiasts to share that Devoteam Luxembourg has been recognized with the “Onboarding Excellence” and “CSR Initiative of the Year” Awards, sponsored respectively by Canon and INDR.
In receiving the “CSR Initiative of the Year” award, the company has been honored for having the most innovative and impactful corporate social responsibility strategy implemented in the organization. Its CSR strategy called “VEEP”, which stands for Value, Environment, Ethics, and People, is focused on using technology to promote positive change in its entire ecosystem. Not only Devoteam has partnered with organizations to develop offers that support business leaders in understanding the value of sustainability in their business models, but the company has also launched the #TechforPeopleProgram through the Devoteam Foundation to support NGOs by promoting citizenship through call-for-projects, pro-bono work, and tech-labs.

This year again, the “Onboarding Excellence” award recognizes the company’s innovative practices in welcoming and integrating new employees into their teams’ culture and values. Devoteam has developed a “realmote” experience starting at the very early stages, providing new recruits with a virtual immersion, allowing them to take a first step into their future work environment. With Tech at the very heart of the company, Devoteam has personalized the onboarding process to create a unique and attractive experience for new recruits, helping them to integrate and feel a sense of belonging more quickly.
This multi-award recognition is a testament of the strong dedication of the local HR team and the out-of-the-box ideas of its people all year long. These two awards reflect Devoteam’s continuous commitment to putting people at the heart of its activities. With collaborators from many nationalities and cultures, being also certified “Great Place to Work” for the fourth time in a row shows the dedicated energy to create a happy tech talent community, by keeping a pulse and fostering shared values.

The HR One Gala is an annual event organized by Farvest that brings together more than 500 HR decision-makers from various sectors in Luxembourg. The event features targeted conferences, a networking cocktail and a gala dinner with the Luxembourg HR Awards ceremony. The awards aim to promote and spread best practices, foster emulation between the country’s professionals and offer recognition to the best solutions provided on the market.
