The challenge
Devoteam offered the chance to the customer to modernize an existing internal application. To make the application easy extendable with the best performance for running complex queries, Devoteam proposed to rewrite and rehost the application using Microsoft Azure Technology.
The challenge was to modernize the existing tool and bring all existing features to the heart of a modern web application hosted on Azure. Application had to be integrated on a platform of services offering advanced security. Devoteam supported the company to put on collaboration and communication between all stakeholders, from the client staff to different customer profiles
The solution
The main features of the application are:
- Company and its clients repository to manage Internal and client publications
- Deliverables, upload of documents to share with clients
- Dashboard, to present statistics on client publications
- Heatmap, to present impacts to clients
- Notifications and communications
- Publications, import (from third party tool) and export
- Dynamic publication metadata • Users and client’s management
On a technical point of view, the project helps to reduce storage issues linked to publications stored multiple time per clients.
Results
The client benefits from Services mutualized on a unique platform. One application is hosting all documents and regulatory Information needed by customer. Finally, there is the possibility to comment and like publications.
